39 High-Protein Breakfast Ideas

Blackberry French Toast is a great breakfast that can be made in the morning. It is a dish that is quick to make and delicious for a Sunday brunch. It's a dish that I often make for breakfast, which my family loves. It goes well with butter and syrup, or honey if you prefer it sweeter.

You can use any fruit you like, but blackberries are my favorite flavor of fruit because they are sweet and delicious and easy to find in stores during the summertime! I got these at Costco, which has been excellent lately. They have been working on having more organic foods available there and being cheaper than other grocery stores without being too expensive either.

As a quick and easy breakfast option, cottage cheese berries are a delicious way to start the day. This dish can be assembled in just 10 minutes, and it only requires four ingredients! The recipe is made from strawberries, blueberries, and low-fat cottage cheese blended in a bowl. It's a light breakfast that goes well with any fruit you would like to use. I love this quick and easy breakfast dish because it offers both protein (cottage cheese) and carbohydrates (strawberries) needed for energy throughout the day.

This southwest tofu scramble is a twist on a typical breakfast dish. There are sweet flavors and spices, but it still has some savory notes that make it great for a weekday breakfast. This dish is made from tofu, black beans, orange bell pepper, jalapeno jelly (or hot sauce), lime juice and cumin. The recipe can be easily modified if you have other vegetables that you would like to add in! It's an all-around great vegan dish to start your day with!

I love to start the day with a green smoothie; it is an easy, healthy and delicious way to help get some nutrients into your system. The ingredients I use for my smoothie are kale, almonds, banana (pre-peeled if possible), frozen mango chunks, cucumber and almond milk. I add these ingredients to a blender or food processor and am left with my favorite breakfast drink!

This is a great breakfast for those of you who don't eat eggs or have dietary restrictions because it's made from fruits that all can enjoy. This dish can also be made using other types of fruit such as pineapple or peach instead of mango.
